today was the year one's first official dance lesson with zaki. initially he was like so fierce la. super particular about the dance steps of every count and even down to 1/2 a count. have to be clean in our steps, any mistake and everybody will have to start from the top again. wah.. but i gotta admit this. he's good. =)
finally we sat down to discuss subsequent dance rehearsals. to my horror, there are dance practices every sunday either from 8-10am or 10-12pm, on top of the practices we have on weekdays! that means i have to either go for second sunday service which starts at 11.30am, or i won't even be able to go at all! *aahhh!!* and my drums duty during worship session will have to stop too. :( all these will go on until our dance production on 19th may. i guess i have no choice. these will only be temporary. really hope that our regular sunday practices will be from 8-10am. at least i can still go for sunday service.
ok. back to our discussion just now. i plucked up my courage and asked him if there's any possibility that rehearsals will be held on monday (labour day) instead of this sunday. since he mentioned earlier on that the practice is tentatively on sunday, if not monday. cos i've got alpha weekend away until this sunday evening. after asking the rest, most of them wanted sunday. shucks. then i was like "oh no!" in a volume which i didn't think was loud such that zaki can hear me. and then zaki from behind me was like "ahaha!!" in an extremely (and might i add, terrifyingly) high pitched voice. he was laughing at me. hurhur..

alpha weekend away is coming! i'm so looking forward to it la. we're going johor bahru. it's only a 2 days 1 night trip. i'm intending to minimise to the max the stuffs that i'm bringing. travelling light is the way to go! wahaha.. unfortunately i haven't even started packing yet. i'm too lazy to do that. will probably start tmr morning although i gotta be at simei at 930am. ok my hair's more or less dry already. gotta sleep now. good night! =)
